‘The Cat’, is a stop motion horror film of which I designed an official movie poster for. This short stop motion horror flick comes from RPVR Skunkwerks. Multiple series and additions have been made to this poster, but all with small changes. These variations were needed for the poster to be sent to festivals such as CIFF and Nightmare’s. I was in charge of designing the poster for the movie and also assisted with rotoscoping and prop makiduring my time as an intern.

The official screen print was on 19”x25” Black Licorice Pop-Tone 100lb Cardstock, cut down to 18”x24”. The four inks used for the design are crimson red, dark blue, white, and a special hit of glow-in-the-dark Speedball Night Glo. These colors not only reflect the film, but also how a cats eyes glow back in the night. Roughly all 100 copies were printed by hand and are individually signed/numbered over the spring break of my senior year. A number of these were given to the team behind the film as well as the festivals they participated in. The rest were used as my senior show giveaway or for personal use.
