Client: Mavens Ice Cream (Concept Art)

Role: Interviewing Graphic Designer

Tools: Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop

Objective: Stage 2 of the interview included designing a new flavor using Mavens’ current branding style and making a video explaining my process within a 2 hour limit.

Process: Review the supplied design brief and assets provided. Reseached Ube and it’s roots in Filipino culture. Designed the flat label artwork in Adobe Illustrator, then mocked up in Adobe Photoshop. Filmed a roughly 8 minute video explaing my design choices, process, and any compliactions during the process with notes on how I would improve their branding. Video can be made avaliable upon request.

Result: Made it to Stage 3/ the final round of the interview process. Ultimately did not move forward with the company, but had fun doing the project.
